The Alabaster contemporary globe incorporates an alabaster stone base in "grey opale" colour, together with a stylish metallic taupe globe ball featuring a white ocean.

The alabaster is quarried by Lavamar, which is the only company in the world that specialises in the harvesting and processing of crystal stone, a natural and unique alabaster known as "Mediterranean Crystal Alabaster". Lavamar stone has been used to create some of the world's most stunning furniture; it can be seen all over the world from 5 star hotels in Dubai to a Russian Embassy. A polyester brush is used to provide a protective layer making it highly resistant to chemicals, stains and general wear.

Designed with style in mind, the Alabaster contemporary globe ball features an up to date map with all countries, capital cities and major place names marked. The globe sits freely on the alabaster base so that it can be handled, making all areas of the world easily viewable.
